The project was carried out keeping under focus the village of Hongcun in Yixian province, near the southern slopes of the Huangshan mountains. The village is willing to form the figure of an ox: a nearby hill - the Leigang - is interpreted as the head, while two trees above it would be the horns; four bridges spanning the Jiyin stream can be seen as the paws and houses of the village form the body of the animal.
It is a village strongly connected to nature, perfect in the harmony of design.
In 2000 the village of Hongcun was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
